90 dollars for a pedi and a sub par mani. The pedi was worth the 40$. However barely any work on the mani and a paint job that was the worst I’ve experienced in years. I asked for the French tip lines to be redone while I was there but eventually gave up. Then was charged 40$ for the manicure. When I questioned it the guy checking me out just says “yup 40$”. OBSESSED with this place! 😍 I came in with a complicated reference picture from Pinterest and they literally nailed it. The vibe in the salon is so chill, it doesn't smell like strong acrylic chemicals, and everything is super clean. Everyone was so nice too. Definitely my new go-to spot.
Honestly, I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon in the Brighton area for months and I finally found it! I got it third times and it’s all so niceeee 😭 Alux Spa is so cute inside and they actually take their time. My tech was super sweet and didn't rush at all even though it was busy. My acrylics look so natural and not thick or clunky like my last place. 10/10 recommend! I’ll definitely be there many times in the future~
I used to love Alux. But they recently raised prices and my last 2 manicures have been super rushed and have chipped within 24 hours. And not just little chips—like they are looking terrible. I would have gone back and asked them to fix it, but we were leaving on vacation. Was it my tech that was bad? Are the new polishes bad? I’m not sure, but either way way it’s no longer worth going to Alux. Time to find a new nail spa.
Omg..best set of acrylics over my natural nails, that I've had in a long time. Its so hard to find a good acrylic tech, but that man is an artist.
