Update - added photos in response to the owner. Their comments neglected to mention they used newly remodeled bathrooms as their primary source of working light while they were removing drywall texture. We had brand new Pella doors and windows installed throughout the whole house and I asked them to mask these areas to protect them, which had to be repeated multiple times. Shout out to my wife for finding. Had them stain and caulk our pergola and porch. Did a good job of addressing some wood mold as part of the prep. So wife had them estimate and then paint our exterior as well as our exterior doors. They do great prep work. We had a designer do a wall work that used screws. That wall is absolutely smooth with no sign of the fill. Their prep work was real thorough in addressing any issues. They moved furniture, including a piano and heavy refrigerator to paint. The long and short - only use if you want to pay a premium for subpar work. I hired Simon for a roughly $15,000 job. I ultimately chose him as the contractor after reviewing several bids for what he said was his attention to detail and dustless sanding. Attention to detail, he does not have. Two rooms were of somewhat acceptable quality finish, which coincidentally are rooms that I prepped and primed. Nail holes are not sanded flush and are noticeable. Simon Aluisy, owner of Aluisy and Company, recently did an outstanding job painting our custom designed kitchen cabinets . He is truly a perfectionist and the quality of the Sherwin Williams paint he chose was perfect for our contemporary country home in Glen Arm.
