I just called regarding my 8 gallon DeWalt wet/dry vac. Rudy helped me in record time with multiple questions. He was very knowledgeable and didn't hesitate to answer any question. FYI, always use your filter for wet and dry usage. By-the-way, I love this vac for vacuuming around a litter of pups and I didn't want the 'items' to go into my regular vacuum for sanitary reasons. Purchased "Husky" brand air compressor from Home Depot. The first compressor went out almost immediately and Home Depot replaced the item. This replacement unit has now gone out within 4 months of owning it and less than an hour of total use. Alton produces the units but after contacting them it is ABUNDANTLY clear that this is just going to be a non-stop back and forth with no acceptable resolution (via email and telephone). Great company to work for with even greater product
I have an older air compressor, probably 12 years old. It gets regular usage so the pressure regulator needed replacing. Since it is an older unit replacement parts were in short supply. The parts department reviewed my pictures and explanations. After some quick research they found the part. Placing the order was quick and in only a matter of days I had the part in hand. I purchased a used Kobalt / Lowe's 8 gallon air compressor. On inspection I found the manifold was broken at the air hose connector. The model number was 0300841, and a later version 0300842. In both manuals the manifold is not identified as a part. Calling on Lowe's was a waste of time - the first customer representative flat out told me no parts were available, even as I had previously ordered an air filter.
