Apparently Alton makes Craftsman items that I did not know until now. I have a Craftsman Tire Inflator that is made by Alton and it is faulty Craftsman says a 1 year warranty on this item but Alton has to honor it and since it sat at the store for 10 months or more my warranty is past the date code by 2 weeks. At this point I have been arguing for weeks with Craftsman & Alton .... I need to show proof of date of purchase and I told them it was a gift and I did not receive a gift receipt. Terrific customer care, went out of their way to help, responded promptly to all correspondence, and made sperate effort to wish me good holidays.
