Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Alto. I took my Cupra in for warranty work on the glove box, boot and sunroof noise on use. I have owned this car for around six months and have kept it in prestige condition, always with a lot of care. Travelled from Wollongong to Sydney to take my car here to fix an issue with the infotainment system. After two days I was told the car was fixed and ready for pick up. I was barely halfway out of the service centre driveway when the system started playing up again so went back in to ask them to check it again. I had a very poor experience with Alto Volkswagen North Shore last year, so I decided not to return for service this year. Their system automatically scheduled an appointment for me, and since I didn’t confirm it, they called several times to follow up, which was understandable. Alto Group recently removed the shuttle service that used to make their offering stand out. This was a key reason to chose their service centre over others. While the team does a good job with vehicle servicing, taking away a value-added feature like this feels like a step backwards, especially after investing in a new mega service centre in Artarmon.
