Worth the price. – Gail and Doug have renovated the Altnaveigh right down to replacing the kitchen floors. Everything--the wholesome food, the presentation, the service, the drinks, the live music, the ambiance, and especially the way they dote on their guests--is superb. Romantic – If you are over 40 and want a decent meal near UConn then this is the place. Located in a B&B it has a "stuffy" feel and small portioned food but I guess it's romantic.
my mom and went to the altnaveigh inn on tuesday afternoon for lunch . it was wounderfull . the service was wounderfull . and the food was great . i even had my wedding there a long tme ago . but the new owners are verry nice and warm . it's is a verry nice place to eat.
