I came to Altitude with no knowledge of what recovery was or what would happen there. Admittedly, it was not my idea because, “I didn’t have a problem.” Which was just part of my problem. I was safely detoxed, educated on addiction, was given personalized guidance, and group sessions; where I was able to meet and even make friendships with other adults I would have never crossed paths with otherwise. I am a family man who worked 20 years as a first responder and worked in construction management for several years. Altitude is a place for healing. The people who work there really go above and beyond to make sure you seen, heard, and safe. Each individual there had such a huge impact on my journey. When I showed up there I was broken and lost. Through groups, my counseling and therapy sessions I was able to work through some really hard stuff. They show you that it’s okay to let your walls down and accept help by seeing how they interact with one another. It gives you hope that not everyone is going to hurt you. Beautiful facility, wonderful staff, fresh food every meal. I felt safe and welcome everyday I was there. Forever grateful to Altitude and all they have done.

My wife was treated like a queen during her stay. The entire staff was extremely supportive and made sure her every need was met! She had difficulty even going up and down the stairs to begin with and the staff was always there to assist her with this as an example.The room must have been 500sq.ft in size. It came with a walk in shower, a bathtub and a huge walk in closet. It had a big balcony overlooking the pool. The food was outstanding and every conceivable food was available.. Yummy!
