Professional and friendly salon. I am always very happy with my haircut and style. Andrea is very talented.
Came across Altier when looking for the Friday Harbor Salon (which is listed as being in the same location). Upon reaching door, was brusquely turned away before I had a chance to clarify the situation. Owner seemed quite flippant and contentious from the brief interaction I had with her. I hope it was simply a bad time, as others on island have had good things to say about the place.
Andrea is a master at her craft. I am incredibly fortunate that she operates her salon on little San Juan Island. Her work is as good if not better than great stylists I've had in the SF Bay Area. And she's down to earth, punctual and hilarious!
Andrea at Altier Salon has been doing my hair for over 20 years. She's amazing. She is very professional and a perfectionist when it comes to her clients' hair.
