I rarely leave reviews like this, but after nearly three months of trying to get my solar system repaired, I am beyond frustrated. Alternate Energy installed our 36-panel system about 12–13 years ago. For years we were happy with it, occasionally even seeing electric bills around $17 despite running A/C constantly. Yes, Wrote a bad review on Alternate Energy last week, but since change it . Because it was a miscommunication on my part and office. We resolved the situation with the office and the technician n office team responded excellently well . I've since actually wanted some quotes from them for other work on my system. I would recommend them to anyone. Sorry and Thank U Alternate Energy
I changed my review on them because at first I thought they were going to abandon me on the dripping noise issue I was having. Alternate energy after reviewing the issue, offered a solution to me at no charge. They came out with the same person who did the initial install and installed a whole new drain pipe to alleviate the noise I was having. It's really great to see a contractor that honors their commitment to make things right.
They talk a good story when selling you the ac system. But when my system started making noise after 2 months they said it was drain issue that was existing and told me to get a plumber. even though I never asked them to use existing drain when they did install and said the entire install was included. Be careful of promises from these guys I'm commenting on their comment. Note the previous AC unit I had in their never made a sound. Follow up review: They work with you. After installing 4 AC units, solar, and a Tesla battery we have had nothing but great service from them when there have been issues with our system, from setup to completion-such as when the Tesla battery failed they troubleshooted and fixed it. When the AC unit had a red light, they were prompt to send someone.
