I recently completed an interim administrator assignment for Altercare. The Corporate staff were supportive, professional, and worked to ensure a smooth transition between administrators. My experience was a positive one; I would certainly recommend Altercare if you are considering a career in long term care, seeking a change or considering placement of a love one. A Top Tier organization!
Mom passed 12/31/24. I had paid for January so needed a refund. What a headache. Was told I missed the January deadline and it would be mailed Feb 21st. Called several times when the check did not arrived. Always got voicemai. I finally called the facility Mom was in and they called corporate. I wanted to know the address it was mailed as I had several bills go to the previous Memory Care she was in even though I have never given them that address. Worst company
I am giving 5 stars to the Western Reserve Facility. The staff for the most part was very attentive and kind to my mom who was there 2 years until she passed. Yes, there were some issues as with most senior care facilities, but at one point there was quite a turnover in staff. That is very common for nursing homes all over. The food could be better, but right before mom passed they hired a new kitchen staff that was much improved. I could not ask for more compassionate aids and nurses for mom. I would go 0 stars if I could. Altercare Thornville is awsome, but cooperate sucks with billing. FYI Be careful
