I’ve been a loyal Alterations Express customer for many years, which made my recent experience at the Strongsville location especially disappointing. Susanna, the manager, was dismissive from the start. Instead of offering her professional opinion on hemming my dress, she simply told me to decide how short I wanted it, without examining the garment or providing any guidance. I needed a 3-4 inch rip stitched, the zipper replaced on a simple durable material dress. They quoted me $ 80-100 to have it in 2-3 days. I have never walked out of a place so fast in my life. I called Strongsville alterations and embroidery. I had it the next morning for 30$. Avoid this place at all costs and support local businesses and craftsman, not corporate predators.
