Went with my dad and loved the place. Great sandwiches and coffee, want to come back and try the rotating pastries! Barista was a good DJ almost had me breakdancing in the store

This place is a hidden gem. I could not believe how beautiful and delicious the food was. In my experience, sometimes getting gluten free food to taste good is possible, but to look good too, is quite the feat. I had the pistachio cream puff and I’m in love! Already planning my next trip to this little bakery. The service was wonderful too.

This was a wonderful start to my morning. I walk by this joint on the way to work every morning and decided to give 'er a(n alter e)go! They were closed, which signified poor planning on my end. But, they saw me looking forlorn and in need of a jolt and they opened for me and made me a tremendous latte. If you are thinking about trying them out, GO!

Absolutely incredible gluten free food. The coffee was great too! I felt like a kid in a candy store with the bakery selection. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I can not recommend Alter Ego enough for anyone avoiding gluten! All other allergens are clearly labeled as well. The meal and coffee were reasonably priced, I ended up getting way more goodies than anticipated though, and everything was delicious!

The interior decoration was beautiful, the service was so accommodating! I had a breakfast sandwich, but they replaced the sausage with fried green tomato and arugula. It was DELICIOUS! The raspberry espresso cake was the BEST genoise and whipped cream “cream” cake I’ve had in decades. I highly recommend this eatery to anyone with food allergies who have missed treats and eats!
