I was a member here for several years, before I moved from the city, and it seems ever since I left the management just keeps getting greedier. They finally added massage chairs on the second floor but now charge $15 per use apparently. These are completely free at other gyms. To make it worse, only platinum members get two free uses per month, which is insulting given how long many people I know have supported this gym. Update, 2025: They finally placed massage chairs on the second floor, these chairs are $15 per use, they are free at Fit4Less and Goodlife. Management is ridiculously selfish and greedy. Only platinum members get only 2 free uses per month. It’s okay, it’s a lot of hype and not much deliverance. An example is there is no recovery equipment, all they have are couches which are mostly already taken, on busier days, by people. Wouldn’t personally recommend. They keep on upgrading the place as well which is a nice touch.
Altea Active Winnipeg is an exceptional fitness experience! The facilities are top-notch, with state-of-the-art equipment, clean spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help and create a positive environment. I truly enjoy my workouts here and appreciate the variety of classes and services offered. Highly recommend!
