I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I felt this experience was important to share. I have a family friend at this facility, and while there are a couple of kind nurses, the majority have come across as cold and unresponsive. On multiple occasions, l've felt ignored when asking for assistance, despite being respectful. I've also heard concerns from other families that call buttons can go unanswered for extended periods of time, sometimes over 10 minutes or more. Shady folks, I wouldn’t put my grandma here is it’s the last place to “take care” of her. If I was you I’d take some time with my loved one that sadly inhabits such a toxic place. I would sit with them and watch. Watch what happens in that place and it will blow your mind….

AltaVita Assisted Living is a beautiful facility with caring and compassionate staff. My mother-in-law lived there for 11 months until her passing this month. We are so grateful for the excellent care she received at AV. Every single person we encountered there was kind, professional, and diligent. Whatever Lindsay tells you during the sales process is absolutely true (sales people everywhere know what you want to hear, but in the case of AV what Lindsay describes is the way it is).
