This review could easily become an essay on Wintry’s skills but I’ll try to be succinct. I have received bodywork regularly for decades and Wintry is the best therapist I’ve worked with. My mobility has never been better since I was much younger. After a fall with a broken collarbone and 4 broken ribs I have regained complete range of motion. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Wintry has been working on my lower back for a month after my skiing fall. I had my doubts at first as to the efficacy of body work for my pain. But the deep massage, hot rocks, and cups have made me a believer. During my most recent session, I mentioned frequent cramps in my calves when I wake up in the morning. Wintry spent a bit of time on those, and they haven't returned since. I now anticipate regular maintenance sessions in Wintry's pleasant company and studio space.
Before coming to see Wintry at Altar, I had experienced a lot of emotional stress that was showing up in my body. Wintry worked their magic in my neck and shoulders so well that I no longer had pain and stiffness in my head, neck, jaw, face, shoulders, low back and hips. I have been dealing with chronic pain for two years. It prevents me from walking much more than a grocery trip. Physical therapy over months has done little to improve my condition.
