Terrific Shop Don, presumably the owner is truly an ethical, and helpful man. He likes what he does and is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. This is a first class shop - it makes Altadena that much more special.

Great Altadena Landmark! From the red wagons in the window to the little drawers with nuts and bolts in the back, this is the place to get basic hardware supplies, the kind of unusual items you only find in Mom & Pop stores, and knowledgeable advice from owner and clerks alike.

Altadena Hardware is a neat throw back in time, but with modern conveniences. It is not Home Depot, nor does it try to be. If you are working on something at home and need a few odds and ends, this is much more convenient than trekking all the way down to a larger store. The folks here are very friendly and knowledgeable and will take the time to work with you and get exactly what you need.

This quaint little hardware store has been around for years. It is located near North Lake Avenue, and Webster's Stationary store. It is a small store, but it has all the essentials. The sales people are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have often helped my family with projects and now know us by name.
