I delivered all 4 babies here! 3 at the old section and 1 at the new. All 4 births were incredible with attentive, kind staff, and especially my doctors! The nurses in my postpartum recovery would come in and chat with me and it felt like we had been friends for years! The new labor and delivery is absolutely stunning with lots of great new equipment and large windows to show off the stunning salt lake valley!
Before having my baby I was OBSESSED with birth. I did a ton of research and really wanted to have an unmedicated birth through the Simply Birth program. The team at Altaview was completely supportive of my birth plan, even things like wearing my own robe, avoiding the hep-lock, and pushing upright. Carly Yearsley was the midwife who delivered my baby and she did an amazing job supporting me in labor. My son and daughter were both born in this facility and I couldn’t be more pleased. From start to finish you feel like you’re the only patients in the entire building. Everyone is super kind, supportive, helpful, patient, and above all genuinely seem like they love what they do. This post would be 5 paragraphs long if I mentioned everyone by name but every single staff member we have interacted with both pregnancies and births have been more than deserving of a 5 star review. Wow! What an experience it was to deliver at Alta. From the nurses to the anesthesiologist to my wonderful Dr Coyle and her staff who took care of me - every single one was absolutely great from the start. I truly cannot thank them enough for helping me bring my baby boy safe into the world. The rooms are really nice and spacious and food service is great! Special thanks to Nurses Darcy and Heidi, Dr Egbert and Dr Coyle.
Gave birth in November and absolutely loved the staff, my doctor, and the new maternity ward. Will 100% have my next baby here.
