Great place to stay to explore the sunrise side of Mt Rainier NP, 30 min drive from sunrise point. Free coffee, pool, jacuzzi and a small kitchenette and a helpful staff are only some of the things to look forward to. The room wasn’t very clean but very spacious 1 Bhk. The only close by food option is at the Crystal mountain ski lift 9 min drive out. And gas stations are atleast 20-30 min drive out so plan out early.
Stayed for 1 night, location was convenient but very limited options for eating out, so bring your own groceries/snacks. The room itself was cute and quaint, had a little living room, kitchen, queen bed, and bathroom, but the light fixtures were dark and dim making it feel a bit gloomy and felt like it could use more of a thorough clean. Our bathtub was also very backed up, attempted to unclog it ourselves with the plunger without success. The rooms looked nothing like the picture. Not even close. Everything was done via text, no people around. Would be a great ski place, but that's not why we were there. Overall good. Looking back after a few months, I think this really was a nice place.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They canceled our booking 2 days before we arrived. We were on a 14 day road trip with limited reception. They left us stranded and offered us no help or compensation. The reason they canceled - a wedding party wanted our room - so they screwed us over. Bad business - clueless staff on the phone. They should NOT be allowed to provide lodging.
I stayed in one of the cabins for a last minute weekend getaway to hike Mt. Rainier. With peak summer dates and less than a week’s notice, options were extremely limited, and the total cost came out to over $600/night after taxes. After booking the nonrefundable stay, I came across some concerning reviews about cleanliness and general upkeep, which left us feeling a little deflated.
