This is an agriculture and research extension centre under Virginia Tech. They have good facilities for research. All the people including faculties, officers and students are very friendly and helpful. Also, they are very dedicated to provide extension services to local stakeholders. This AREC provides training and workshops for them periodically.
Attended open house Saturday. The tour was excellent and lots of good information was presented about agricultural experiments that take place here. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff who shared, projects, posters and brochures with us and answered our many questions. Refreshments were served after the tour. Great place to visit. The public tours happen once a year.
