Called and got a price over the phone for siding, but was overcharged by 50% when I came to pick it up, and giving a receipt without pricing. If the people who loaded up the product weren't so slow and inattentive, I may have left unknowingly, but luckily had a ton of down time sitting and waiting for my materials. Since most suppliers have been more transparent and efficient, I don't see myself coming back

For those in the market for windows - new build or else, I would highly recommend talking to your builder about alternatives to Alside. I have a 2 year old custom built home where I’ve had 2 picture windows leak during heavy rains. One I had my builder reglaze. The other I pursued a warranty claim, through Alside’s parent company Associated Materials. I have sold around 15,000 vinyl windows in my 23 year career. I sold several thousand windows made by ALSIDE. I have had hardly any problems at all from Atrium and Simonton windows. Here’s what I say about ALSIDE WINDOWS AND ALSIDE IN GENERAL. ALSIDE has always sucked and I turned a blind eye! I was actually warned from the internet and others. God I wish I would have listened! Great service! Prices a little higher than other places I looked but the quality justified the premium price.
