Make sure you read your fine print. In 2010 we had our Alside windows installed by a subcontractor. The windows have a lifetime guarantee and we have had to have many replaced over the years. Suddenly, Alside will only replace the window pane without the frame. They hand you a piece of glass and let you figure out how you're going to get it into a frame. Just make sure you read your contract closely if you buy from this company
This has been a joke to deal with. I have had siding issue since day 1 install. Product buckled time and time again. Trying to deal with getting this done promptly hasn’t even come close. Siding has been installed and reinstalled with the same issue. We we told we would be upgraded to a better product but had to pick out a “lighter color” because heat is the issue. Makes no sense to me that you’d sell a product that doesn’t work but whatever. Picked out new color and here we are THREE YEARS later and no siding on the house. ... read more
I have been dealing with this company since I was a kid for over 40 years. I’ve been dealing with Alside. They have an excellent product. But their customer service and their management is horrible. Finally after many many years of dealing with this company, I am done. I had Windows sitting in the delivery truck at the warehouse for two or three days and they couldn’t get the windows out and I lost my window installer for two weeks messed my schedule now I have an angry customer.
