I will not go into the details of my experience but it was horrible. Hesitant to write anything as I have reported Alsana to the proper authorities (multiple times now). I left with more trauma than when I came. Would never ever recommend. Do not trust this place. Look into private equity (finance companies) buying ED Treatment centers... Cherry on top, doing this is illegal in California. Be very careful when selecting treatment and always look at their lawsuits and who owns the organization. It took a lot of guts for me to say this; Do not go to this place. Most of the staff are undertrained, unprofessional, uncaring, and just got their licenses recently, and you would have a better recovery elsewhere from an eating disorder such as UCSD’s partial hospitalization program as they can actually deal with people struggling with their eating disorders unlike Alsana. This location should be reported to authorities for elder abuse and fraudulent billing. The nurses are abusive including Nurse Jordan and lead admin. Really they should go to jail for the manner of which they treated our loved one. Please stay away from this place, it’s hell with roof. It.
