Wanted to dump a refrigeration charge and recharge it before doing any work.Whilethe system was not low on refrigerant.
Before setting out on a 10 hour drive I ran into a problem with my Volvo. Thankfully, I found Al's Volvo and dropped in without an appointment. Meghan listened to my problem, printed a parts list to help identify the problem and part #. Then Garrett said, "lets's see what you've got...." They've had my Volvo for almost TWO YEARS no exaggeration - It's still not fixed. My husband and I call - get someone on the phone, explain the problem, and then are ignored. I work for an attorney. Al's Volvo is getting VERY close to meeting him. Do not trust these guys with your car.
I can't say enough. This is a quality repair shop, and genuinely nice people who I've enjoyed working with for several years now. I have a 2004 XC70 wagon and I'll take it nowhere else. From basic repairs, troubling head-scratching fixes, regular maintenance, all of it. They had our Volvo in the shop for an entire month from 01-06-25 to 02-03-25. They originally said the job would be done same day. We understood it was a big job but they led us on for the entire month telling us multiple times it would done a certain day and then it wasn't. The car sat in their yard for weeks even when we thought they were working on it. The mechanic got mad at us for checking in to see if the car was done on the days he said it would be done.
