Came for lunch passing through town. I got the sliced brisket sandwich, buddy got the chopped. Beautiful smoke ring and flavor, super tender. Loved the warm bbq sauce. Got banana pudding for buddies bday- and then got suprised with complementary homemade ice cream. Great experience will definitely stop again when in the area.
This place has a lot of nice things to it from it's kind and friendly staff, to its clean bathrooms, and nice simple decor. But it's hard to say the same for the food and it's portion sizes. A "regular" sized combo meal, costing $22+, got me three slices of ham, maybe eight slices of sausage, and one slice of Texas toast. It was all was mostly spread out in one layer onto their large plate that takes up most of the space on the tray. This is my second time coming here and the first time was excellent but this time was absolutely awful. Customer service was so extremely rude.
