Mike has replaced a hose spigot that was tricky because of a tight space in our basement. He had helpers with him so they were fast and efficient. I remembered they were good, so I recently asked him to replace or repair a toilet that was old and my husband and I had both deemed annoying to work with. We decided on replacing it and Mike communicated well, explained the options, and got it done fast. Thanks again!

Definitely Check YELP Reviews. Dishonest and will take advantage of a situation. The plumber fixed the issue effectively, but the overall experience felt dishonest. Over the phone, I was told the service fee would be waived if we agreed to the job on the spot but that wasn’t honored. When my property manager asked about the service fee upfront, it wasn’t disclosed. We were also told the parts were already on the truck, but after agreeing, the plumber left to purchase them. Excellent work! Knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. Had a leaky outside spicket that needed replacement. They were able to get to me the next day. They had Reasonable prices! I was very satisfied with the service, and will continue to use and recommend to others!

I can’t recommend Al’s Plumbing in Shelton, CT enough. Mike—the owner—is hands-down one of the most honest and hardworking people I’ve come across. When my water heater went out, I gave him a call and he answered right away. No waiting, no hassle. He showed up super fast, was incredibly courteous, and got the job done quickly.
