Great place to get needed garden supplies Al's is a great place to pick up new and interesting garden supplies. They have hard to find varieties of plants and garden supplies in large selections. They also sell seeds and have a coffee bar. PROS: CONS: expensive
A Bit Out of the Way -- But Well Worth the Trip!!! This is a huge garden center with a large variety of products and plants. I was amazed the first time I entered the store to actually find out just how large it was. All the nursery stock here are healthy and well taken care of. The staff are helpful and knowlegable about the special care certain types plants might require. I strongly recommend this store to all the gardeners out there. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed!!!
Just about the best selection of plants....anywhere! Als Garden Center has just about the best selection of plants of any nursery in the Willammette Valley. Also, they have excellent customer service, and a very knowledgable staff. It is a little out of our way to go there, but it's worth it! PROS: Service. Selection. Knowledgable Staff. CONS: none.
worth the trip I live in Salem, and like many of the local garden stores. But none compare with Al's Garden Center. Quantitiy, quality, helpful and knowledgeable staff -- they have it ALL!
Great gardening center I live in Salem, but I make it a point to drive to Woodburn to shop at Al's Garden Center when I can. Their staff is very knowledgable and give as little or as much help as you prefer. This great family-oriented business not only has a great selection, they give back to the community with adult and kids classes and events. Their prices can be high when compared to a discount store, but the plants are always in excellent condition. They even have a rewards program for regular customers.
