We stayed at Alps Heimers, Dinner Plain (3 Heritage Lane, VIC 3898) in September 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely distressing. On the last night of our stay, a mouse came out inside the house. It was hiding in the bathroom, moving around the property, and even left droppings inside. The next morning, we saw the mouse in the bathroom sink, which meant we could not even wash. Our children were terrified, and none of us could sleep. A nice stay. The floorboards upstairs are very creeky but overall a nice stay, warm and close to amenities. Need to be careful with climbing up the stairs and the little incline to the stairs if it's been icy overnight, to get to the doorway. Thank you for a nice stay! : )
