Dr. Hanley is among the very best of physicians. He certainly knows the science of medicine, however what makes him extra special is that he practices the "art" of medicine beautifully. Dr. Hanley always sits face to face for a conversation about your health; he always explains options in a way you fully understand which allows you to make the best informed choice for yourself; he always says "now ask me questions" and when you're done discussing, he always says "now ask me more questions". Unfortunately I’ve had multiple horrible experiences dealing with the front desk woman that work here. I’m 20 years old and pregnant and every time I call to reschedule or get lab result information they are extremely rude and snappy and have a horrible attitude towards all pregnant woman. Due to Delta’s labor and delivery unit closing they are the closest place to me and I’ve since switched to St. Mary’s and have never been treated the way alpine woman’s center treated me. I have been going to Alpine for 18 years. Recently, I went in for a serious concern. They ordered a CT of the wrong part of my body, refused to acknowledge that and finally reordered. My insurance denied this and when I called back I was told it was based on the order and they would correct it. I called radiology and they had still not received a new order. It has been a year since I stepped foot in this place, and to this day, I am still angry with the facility. I initially went to the hospital for some pretty intense pain in my uterus, and the ER doctor said that it looked like I had some large fibroids. Thankfully, I had already scheduled an appointment with Alpine Women's Health. So I called and asked if they could move my appointment up, which, thankfully, they did.
