This place is certainly a lot more busy in the winter, but it's also a very nice relaxing off-season stay. We met two different people at the front desk and both were extremely nice and helpful. Don't expect a lot of activity in the off season (we stayed in late August), but you'll appreciate the quiet relaxed vibe. There are a couple of restaurants available, and the fully equipped kitchen in the room is great if you bring your own food. Very comfortable bed, large room, great setup. We really enjoyed it!
Great quite hideaway in the mountains. The rooms are great. The staff are some of the freinliest people anywhere. Really no downside.
Perfect spot to stay in Toas ski Valley. We went to climb Wheeler Peak and just needed a clean, comfortable homebase so we could get up early and get on the mountain. The room was reasonably priced, had a lovely balcony with the sound of a river going by and it just steps away from beer and pizza. The staff there was super kind and friendly, and it was easy to unload and park the car there.
