Butcher Has an unusual entree Turducken! Cajun spiced. Deli is very good very helpful. Will do requests per order and fresh while you wait. No additives on the meat. Good place to get dog bones.

Prices can be high but the specials you can't beat for the portions. This is one of Sarasotas best kept secrets. Outside looks like a meat market only but it's a diner too. Best soup in town!
Believe the hype! – After hearing about this place for as long as i can remeber, i decided to finally order my familys Thanksgiving "turducken" from Alpine Steak House. It was everything we couldve possibly dreamed of. It was so flavorful and juicy. I am thrilled that my first expeirence with meat stuffed inside meat was at Alpines.

Great Place to eat and exceptional meats/butcher – We have the Liver dinner often, really greatly prepared although we like it without the gravy. Maybe try it with the gravy on the side. The desserts are fantastic too. Also, if you want a great dry aged steak in Sarasota Alpines the place. The meat counter is superb, it's just do you eat there or buy steaks and twice baked potatoes and thier salad and grilling at home. One of Sarasota's Best!

This restaurant did not pass my number one criterion: Would I go back? No. The Turducken was pretty good for a $12-$13 dish, but it cost $20 and all three in our party who ordered agreed that they wouldn’t order it again. But there were service problems too and it’s not air conditioned. Or at least the A/C wasn’t working on Memorial Day weekend. Duck the way it should be! – Went to this restaurant while visiting Sarasota, remembered the Food Network show I saw (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, had to check it out! I had the Roasted Duck special (Best I have had in years, done to perfection). My companions had the Beef Brisket (Scrumpious acording to them), Can't wait to get to Sarasota again to check out the Prime Rib, suggested by waitress. Awsome Meat department also.
