The family here is wonderful and we loved visiting the baby donkey Roger. It was fun to explore the property, complete with babbling brook, bridge, trails through the woods and all kinds of animals. Everything was really clean in the little house we stayed in.
So glad we found this place! Nestled out of the way but so close to many areas and interests. It fit our multifamily needs perfectly and no one wanted to leave. Offers many extras we didn't have time to enjoy this time, but the space at Swiss Chalet gave us time together. Hosts are very accessible, welcoming and responsive. Don't think you could go wrong with all the options they offer.
My wife and I had an amazing stay at the 4 seasons retreat just recently. We like to stay and unique properties and this certainly fit the bill. We did not have a lighter and Gabe was there within a few minutes to bring us one even though he was working on other projects on the property. The gentle sound of the creek as we cooked and slept was magical. The animals enjoyed meeting our lab Mikko and we loved the rustic and unique feel. Highly recommend more than a night at this friendly and hospitable spot.
We had a church teens retreat at Alpine South for 4 days. We really love the property. The teens love to play with the cats, watch the horses, cows, and donkeys. The teens also walked around the farm and played the mini zip line. We also had a lot of quiet and peaceful time to worship and study the bible as well. We had the pleasure of meeting with the owner. Great place to stay. Felt very comfortable, and enjoyed the single slope house very much. Property is great, with multiple places to stay, and easy access to each property. Single slope felt spacious and had plenty of sleeping room.
