I don't give 5 stars very often, however, Dr Scmitz was the first dr to really listen and address my concerns. I am an orthopedic medical anamoly. He just performed a total shoulder replacement with an odd presentation. He is driven by science and best outcome. I am so very impressed with him and his staff! Everyone has been kind and caring!

The appointment was at 2:15 pm. Showed up 2:05pm. Waited 25 minutes to be taken to the back. Was put in a room to look at my MRI results. Was told to play with the computer with my X-ray and MRI results were on. Really, it was the first time I got to play on Dr's. Computer all by myself seemed to vary odd. 30 mins later, I walked out of my room because I was not comfortable in the room. After wondering around for a few minutes. Dr. Miguel Schmitz found a tear in my hip, that led to surgery. Of note, I was there for my back. His whole team is amazing from the front desk to his staff in the back! Thank you.

Waiting over a year and a half for my surgery, in his inability to keep me abreast of the situation is beyond acceptable in my opinion. So, I guess I'm scheduled to see him on the 25th of this month in Colfax. My question is he going to finally get around to performing one of my surgeries on that day? Or we're just going to go over all the stuff he's not doing!!? And then wait another year and a half to get anything done?
