Great service.
I had an unfortunate encounter, i made the mistake of getting in the car and seeing where it would take me. Boom I was in the interior of BC, booking rooms on the fly 1-2 days ahead, I received excellent service at Alpine in Nelson, so I found Alpine in Revelstoke, I arrived late one night they said i had no reservation and to check my email for confirmation, checking my email it only showed Alpine in Nelson, I had thought i had a room for 2 nights, i roughed for one night and shared accommodations with friends meeting up wi... read more
It's not the Ritz, but this motel was a perfect place to rest on our way through Revelstoke. When we arrived, we were told we were upgraded to a kitchen suite. The room was clean, though a little musty and had the smell of many years of smoke, but nothing that opening up all the windows for some fresh air couldn't cure. It's obvious that it recently had some renovations. The bathroom fixtures were updated, but the pink bathtub circa 1970 remained for some extra 'charm'. Rooms had a horrid stench and smelled like urine and manure. Forgot a watch at the hotel and they held the watch hostage and tried to charge us for a room that we did not stay in. Absolutely terrible hotel and customer service
