If you like old, musty, moldy, mildew smell so strong that the Febreze or Lysol we bought was no match for then this is the place for you.. Got a headache from the very strong smell asked for another room and owner stated all rooms would smel, the same due to the old musty, moldy, mildewy carpet. Even went outside for fresh air and it smell like something died .We ended up not staying due to developing a headache and you dont get a refund. we planned a trip to white lake because my husband has never been.so i ask ppl & was told yeah pretty place so booking at last min. we thought was a blessing at Alpine Inn.Well were we surprised.We paid \$60.00 a nite.for 07-03-2011--07-06-2011.well that was 120,00 hopefully they will use to get the carpet dry & the roaches out & the terrible musty odor out..they couldnt tell us anything.So dont list as 4 stars it is not...should be -4 stars & the grade was not a 96.I am sorry but I owned a business so I do no my grades.sorr... read more
for thoose interested the going weekend rate is 50 bux a night
This little motel is not on the lake but it is peaceful. Rooms are small but comfortable. Only has stand up showers and no cable. Cheap rates for a place to stay if you are on a budget.
