Five star experience all around! We stayed in the hotel for a summer getaway and the food was a highlight of our time at the resort. The breakfast felt like a noteworthy brunch and dinner was always well executed. The only oddity was that the whiskey cocktails on the menu were only average despite being marked up and highlighted. We waited 1 hr for the food since we sat down at the table. I understand it was busy this morning, but when we got in it was 10:30 already and only a few tables left. When I asked the waiter when we can expect our food, after 1 hr wait, the guy said nothing but “we are busy” and walked away. No apologies, no reason, no nothing. This is not what we expected from a $70 full service breakfast. The quality of restaurant service doesn’t match the hotel premium positioning. I don’t recommend Alpine hall for food.
Food can be hit or miss. Irksome that the online menus omit pricing. They do in fact change the menu seasonally based on availability, as items we ordered on our last visit were very different from the ones we got this time. As such, it would be wise to not assume the exact same recipe will be used if you’re revisiting at a later date.
This place is beautiful. Plenty of food choices that are all great. Service is exceptional
