Avoid Alpine Gardens for firewood at all costs! Terrible firewood. Absolutely dreadful experience with John from Alpine Gardens! The firewood was damp, moldy, and impossible to burn, it was practically unusable, no matter how many starters I used. Also, I ordered a half cord, but it seems John has a different definition of 'half.' Received barely a third of cord. Avoid this rip-off! Such a nice environment. We stayed at a campsite back in September 2022 and the grounds were well kept, bathrooms were clean, and the store was open with lots of goods for a camping/glamping trip. Will be back this year! Hopefully we’ll be able to visit the winery and maybe get a dip in the pool!
