Before living here I was a little worried because of what I've heard but it's much better with new management. I've been living here for 2 months, and the space is nice in the newly renovated apts. It's never too difficult to find parking (don't know how it'll be in the winter). We've had two minor maintenance requests and they were both met within 48 hours. My only complaint is the $2 a load in the laundromat, but the machines work really well so I suppose it's worth it in the end.
This apartment kinda sucks. The first floor rooms are infested with bugs. My roommate found a black widow nest in his bedframe when we moved in and we spent the day finding and killing black widows. The showers make a horrible high-pitch noise and the bathtub drains are all clogged. Our fridge doesn't have enough room for 6 people to use and is literally held together by duct tape. I have loved my experience with the Alpine Flats! Management has been way awesome. Overall the quality of the apartments for the price is really good in comparison with other apartment complexes in the area. Overall this is a very good place to live. I would and do recommend to friends.
management decided to do construction on the apartment next door at 9pm
It's a decent apartment. A lot of the reviews have mentioned mold, but so far I haven't found any, or had any symptoms caused by mold. The apartment has a decent amount of cabinet space. Overall, they charge more than the apartment is worth in my opinion, but it's not horrible. The parking situation is really bad, horrible parking lot which they charge and arm and a leg to park in.
