It is somewhat unavoidable to have some cracking take place when they drive their heavy gravel trucks on your existing driveway, and they will warn you of this. Just understand that when they get you to sign a damage waiver to absolve them from responsibility for busting up your driveway, you will likely ask and expect them to exercise reasonable caution to minimize the damage.
