I had an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience at this hotel. I would strongly NOT recommend it, especially for families with young children. They placed rat poison right next to our sleeping area, which is incredibly dangerous. I have a 1-year-old baby who is already walking, and this situation put my child at serious risk. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of basic safety standards. Upon entering, it was clear the room had not been cleaned. Red pill capsules split in half, instant noodle sauce packets and ripped in half cigarettes were on the draws and in the draws. The sheets had recent stains, food, dog hair and string on them, indicating they had not been changed. Do not stay here, the key was left in the room and door unlocked, our room was left messy with dog food scattered everywhere, pills left lying around and noodle packets left opened. We had also found half a cigarette left in a drawer. The owner and staff gave us the wrong number to message and was very hard to get a hold of. The bed looked like it had been slept in prior to myself and my partner being in the room. We had the “deluxe queen room” while the bed itself was a queen our doonas was a double and could barely fit us ... read more

Booked for my husband as he travelled via motorbike up to QLD. Red flags waving when he was asked to write his credit card details on plain paper- not a check-in form. Stated their EFT machine was broken. Not sure how they operate as key pickup was in a service station, but they can’t swipe his card? Sounded suss so he booked a lovely room in town not that much more than this place was charging.
