I have had accounts with alpine for nearly a decade and 3 years ago I was looking for overdraft protection on my checking account. I added a line of credit to my checking account at the advice of one of the horizon drive members of staff, to help with overdraft protection. At the time no additional accounts appeared on my online banking and assumed it was just linked to my checking account to help cover overdrafts. I made a phone call to Alpine Bank questioning my choice of bank. The lady behind the line was Judy Conwell and because of her I will never change banks as long as she is there. I called multiple times and she always answered and called back when she said she would. If she was not a 100% certain about something, she checked just to make sure. This lady should be a model to what all employees should look like. If you had a team of Judy's there would be no competition in banking. Thank you Judy and Alpine Bank.
Went to get a small business loan with a complete feasibility study and they turned us down saying we do not need another business in Rifle Colorado. Funny the same type of business opened a year later by a board member. Another bank did lend us the money so now we are competing with the member company. Took 3 years but now they are out of business. Bottom line if you aren't kissing the right persons ass from the bank you are nobody.
