I brought my car in for a Warrant of Fitness last June. It didn't pass and I was told they would contact me with an estimate of repairs. If that would be done within 28 days, I wouldn't have pay another $100 to get a new warrant of fitness. I never heard back from Alpine Auto Garage. Even after I called the garage two times. Terrible service and scammers. I brought my car in because my parking brake was broken and I wanted an estimate. They charged me over $200 JUST TO LOOK!!!! It probably didn't take more than 20 minutes. After that, I went to another mechanic to ask how much they charged for an inspection, and they said they didn't charge for an inspection unless they fixed anything. I also asked if I could bring the replacement part and have them install it, and their response was no, that I would have to pay for the full service or nothing. ... read more
