The original work done had to be redone about a month later because oil was leaking all over. They had my car for almost three weeks to fix the seal (I was told it would take a few days) and when I got it back it was obviously a rushed hack job. Certain parts had been disconnected and rattling around. Customer service and communication are not a priority at all here. Get ready to feel like a need ex just trying to get an update. While we were travelling to Hayden, ID, from the tri-cities, our truck went into 'limp' mode and Alpine Auto was referred by another business. Jimmy went out of his way to help us, even offering to meet us on the side of the road, if necessary. Once our truck was at his shop, he ran codes and was able to determine what our next steps needed to be. His customer service was more than expected and so appreciated at such a stressful time.
Prepaid for my truck to be worked on since the parts were expensive. He took my truck apart and let it sit for over a year, stole my parts I paid for and I had to have the truck towed to a real mechanic to get it all back together. Small claims cases are still unpaid. Cost me more than double to get my truck fixed.
Jimmy does amazing work for a fair price. Very thankful for him.
This guy is very straight forward he is very thorough.I took my vehicle in for a botch job thermostat replacement by another mechanic which most mechanics don't work on something someone else did wrong without charging outrageous prices.I needed a radiator purge due to air in the system.He nailed it on the first shot.I have a very good working heater.I was only charged $95 for everything.He even went above and beyond and let me use some electrical tape to fix a cracked air tubing and to cover a gap due to the other mechanic ... read more
