Awesome adventure with the guys from Alpine Air Alaska. This was my first time going on a helicopter ride so I was a little nervous until I met Sam who picked us up from the Best Western. He was calm and delightful which set a good tone. The ride with pilot Freeman was awesome. Freeman was patient with us in the glacier and constantly checked to make sure that everyone was doing okay. This is one of those experiences that I recommend people do at least once in their lifetime.

WOW! I highly recommend taking this tour with a glacier landing! What an incredible experience!! I can’t say enough about our great pilot, Jackson. He took the time to show us around the breathtaking Columbia Glacier. We landed on the Shoup Glacier and drank some glacial water. The views were absolutely spectacular. A must see if you visit Valdez. Something I will never forget!

What a flight! Ryan was wonderful and our first trip in a helicopter was amazing! The only way to see glaciers and the Valdez area. The landing on the glacier was so beautiful and we got to spend a good amount of time walking around and enjoying the scenery. We saw a black bear and he flew over a couple of times to get some photos. We were able to go at the same time in 2 helicopters with our best friends. Highly recommend, first time helicopter ride and we loved it! Our pilot was the nicest young man and a great pilot! Landing on glacier was awesome, we saw 4 bear and numerous waterfalls. Best was flying between mountains to opening by port.
