This was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. It exceeded all of our expectations and it’s a must if you’re in town. Our pilot Nick was the best, super kind and knew the area really well. If we’re ever back to Valdez, this would be on out very top list of activities.
Helicopter Tour Of The Valdez Glacier - as part of a Silverseas cruise from Vancouver to Seward Alaska and back, one of the memorable highlights was a helicopter tour of the Valdez glacier, not only the vista of the main glacier, but also of various side valleys - highlight though, was an actual landing on the glacier where its vastness could be appreciated and also an unbelievably blue pool of melted glacial water - on this particular tour, there were three separate helicopters, all very professionally and safely handled
Our trip over the Valdez area and landing on the glacier was the highlight of our Alaskan cruise! The pilot was friendly, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable as were the other staff. I highly recommend treating yourself to this awesome, once in a lifetime experience!
Helicopter ride to glacier was great. We landed on the glacier and were able to walk around and explore the glacier. I was a great trip that could not be achieved in any other way.
