Alpha Strings is truly one of the best violin shops around. I discovered the shop years ago, and ever since then, Mario has been an incredible and trusted resource throughout my career as a professional violinist. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and always takes the time to help me find the best instrument for my needs and budget. Whether you’re a student searching for an affordable, quality violin or a professional musician looking for a high-end instrument, Alpha Strings has excellent options at every price point. I unfortunately had an accident at a gig where the wind knocked my violin over and damaged it. I was pretty stressed about finding a replacement, but Alpha Strings was so incredibly helpful and resourceful. They let me take two instruments home, both at different price points, so I could take my time and figure out which one felt right for me. As a musician, having people you can trust makes all the difference. I’m so grateful for their help and highly recommend Alpha Strings!

Amazing service, I found the exact sound I wanted from a violin here. Walked through the entire process of finding the right violin with me that I could not find else where. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about sound and violins. If you’re looking for a violin this is the right place to come to!
Mario is very knowledgeable on his instrument, and very patient with me and help me make the right choice on a violin that fits me
