This office was opened by Dr. Mitchel Alpert in June of 1987 as the only full time practice of Pediatric Cardiology in Ocean County. As the practice of Pediatric Cardiology expanded in its knowledge and diversity, other doctors were recruited to this practice. Dr. Alpert is a personable, and professional provider. During my sons visit, Dr. Alpert did a thorough work up and evaluation. Office and clinical staff were friendly as well. Highly recommend!
I had zero experience with the doctor. This review is of the office staff. My son had a heart surgery at CHOP. We were referred to zales for a follow up. I made a six week follow up and the day before the appointment the office informed me they would not see my child because the referral was coming from Philadelphia. I told them it was imperative that my son be seen because he just had heart surgery and they did not care. The staff was rude and the office manager yelled and cursed at me. Very friendly, kind and gentle with children. Very happy to recommend.
Saw Dr. Castro this morning for my daughter's surgery clearance. She explained everything thoroughly & had great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend her.
