Since my last review on May 25, 2017, my present update is ALL positive with his help, expertise and his staff!! At this time I had concerns amidst coronavirus outbreak and in less than 24 hours his staff called me back and fully answered my questions plus put me at ease. I have not had a flare up in 3 years and no complications because I listened to Dr. Alperin and went to my appointments. He is very straightforward and cares. If you need to be comforted I won't say he will give you mental or emotional hugs but he is on to ... read more
Dr Alperin has been my Rheumatologist since about 2003. I have no idea why the two negative reviewers feel the way they do because I have ALWAYS had excellent care from him, and his staff. There is NEVER a reason to wait well over an hour and a half to see the doctor. That is plain inconsideration and unprofessional. If he can't manage his schedule, perhaps it's time to retire!
I hoped Dr. Alperin would've explained his decision-making on my treatment more thoroughly but I lacked knowledge on the basis for the adjustments and understanding of why. On my check-out I was told to go back and forth to opposite desks and I had trouble standing on my leg. The good things were that the staff in functioning properly and is professionally at work. He checked my joints, got bloodwork, xrays, and suggested other tests I could take as well. Good experience overall.
