As a Veteran, this is by far the best treatment center I have been to! The staff is delightful. The amount of knowledge I gained about my self, not just about my drug of choice, has definitely impacted my life ! This was my first experience with a wellness facility, and I was amazed by how exceptional Alpas is. The entire staff is attentive, caring, and genuinely accommodating around the clock. The space itself is beautifully designed, and the rooms are wonderful. I was admitted to Alpas Wellness Center on 1/30/26 to seek help in my recovery with Alcoholism. This was my first experience dealing with an inpatient rehabilitation center after trying an IOP program with a different organization in 2024. I would highly recommend seeking help at Alpas for Alcoholism or Substance abuse disorder. I was incredibly nervous when I first walked through the doors not knowing what to expect. Alpas was a godsend. It met all of my expectations and I’m glad I chose this place to go to for my recovery and wellness options. Alpas has a great and friendly environment with amazing staff members that care for your every need. George Wilson was my case manager and did an awesome job helping me navigate throughout my tenure at Alpas. My therapist Dymond along with the facilitators, nurses, and all of the BHT’s were world class. I highly recommend this place.

I have been so impressed with my stay here. Not being my first treatment center, unfortunately, I have several experiences to compare this with. Alpas in La Plata is a tremendous treatment experience for anyone coming in as a first-timer to one giving treatment another try. The selection of material offered is scaled as such to cover everything from intro to “transition” for those preparing to leave my therapist was highly qualified, compassionate and skillful at helping me design my treatment plan, then keep on top of it.
