I had to call the after hours pulmonologist and had the pleasure to speak with Dr Chandra. She was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. I haven’t seen her in clinic but she was very helpful when I needed guidance!
I seen Dr. Chandra as a new patient. She was absolutely amazing! She listened to me when I explained certain health conditions I was experiencing to her. She didn't over talk me. She didn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about or make me feel uneducated in my health experiences. . She addressed every issue that I was concerned about with my asthma and other issues with my lungs. I definitely have to say she's one of the better doctors that I've seen. And I will definitely be sending people her way.
She is quite possibly the most uncaring and unempathetic doctor I have ever met. She didn't care about my concerns, only wanted to sell me CPAP parts. She actually said I should stop taking my psych meds. That is dangerous and irresponsible. Stay away!

I do not recommend anyone seeking a pulmonologist to see Dr. Alpana Chandra. This was the biggest waist of a co-payment and time for no answers and no help. We went to her, only to find that she and her office staff are cold, insensitive and conduct themselves in a very unprofessional manner. They're very uncooperative in accommodating Deaf patients.
