When I moved into Alonda Villa MHP I would have given 5 stars. However, over the last 10 years maintenance has deteriorated. Roads are breaking up, weeds growing through asphalt, rules not being followed. Allowances seem to be made to friends. The clubhouse is open only a few hours during weekdays. The new maintenance works very hard and is proactive, but one man can do only so much. In 11 years the streets have been swept twice. No snow removal during winter except once during very heavy snow. My elderly mother has lived here for 13 years. Overall it has been a great place for her, and my father when he was alive. I am trying to move in with her as my father died 6 months ago and she would like a presence at the house for safety and companionship. The manager is making it very, and unnecessarily difficult, to comply with the rules on the contractual documents. The park-rules state that my only requirement is that I am over 35 and she is over 55. I am 51. She is 85. He is "making up" rules as we were sitting in his... read more
