In my experience, Dr. Aloise as a physician seems just OK. Seemed a bit cold, but OK. But I made the appointment as my annual wellness exam, and he coded it as a regular office visit, even though the visit and labs were identical to the wellness exam that I get every year. Therefore, I was charged $192. After extensive arguing with the office and billing about this, they refused to fix the coding. My visit went pretty well. i went for nerve pain months after having shingles. he gave me gabapentin for it which was not helpful but he knew about shingles and examined where i had them. he wished i was given an antiviral for it but the doctor i saw for that thought it was too late. he doesnt agree with that view. it was a short visit but i think i knew what i was going for.
He didn't spend much time with me. I didn't feel he wanted to hear my questions or concerns so I didn't feel comfortable asking.
It was fine for what I needed. Average.
The office always provides excellent service

He did nothing and didn't conduct an examination but then said he did in the summary

Optum relies too much on everything thru a portal and more and more difficult to get the info any other way
