Small Asian fusion restaurant (I had a poke bowl); they make be mostly geared for takeout but they do have a few tables inside and one or two on the sidewalk. The food was excellent, the service was good, and they were not busy on a Saturday night when a lot of the other restaurants in the neighborhood were full up.
My daughter and I are on a poke kick and finding the best spots in Asheville. So far Aloha cafe is my favorite. The customizable poke bowl made it super easy to have what I wanted and the staff was very warm and friendly. The portion size was perfect and the fish (I had salmon) was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it and will be back many times over.
My go-to poke spot! You can make a totally custom bowl. Nice people, affordable, and great for lunch.
